Bishop Joyce Green
Senior Pastor
Apostle Joyce Green was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Thelma Williams and Myer
Woodberry. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, the late Mr. and Mrs. Maiden Earl
Farrior, in Burgaw, North Carolina. She graduated from Pender High School in 1982 and earned
a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Shaw University in 1999.
Pastor Green received her Master of Health Administration from Pfeiffer University in
December 2013. During her 26-year career at Duke University Health System, she held roles in
Facilities Management, Private Diagnostic Clinic, and Patient Revenue Management, including
18 years as a Clinical Risk Manager. She received the Strength, Hope, and Caring Award in 2007
and the Duke Regional Hospital Community Service Award in 2020. She retired in February
2026.

Minister
Minister Green is passionate about serving God, preaching His word, and winning souls for
Christ. His greatest desire is to be a faithful servant and to one day hear, “Well done, my good
and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I’ll make you ruler over many;
enter into the joy of the Lord.”

Minister Lawanda Manns is a devoted servant-leader whose life and ministry reflect her deep love for God and His people. Ordained in 2021, she has committed herself to outreach, discipleship, and strengthening communities through faith-centered service and compassionate leadership.
She holds an Associate Degree in Church Planting from Christian National Institute, where she received both spiritual and practical training to help ministries grow with strong foundations and purposeful vision.
Minister Manns serves as Pastor of the Outreach Ministry at Made For Love Ministries, leading initiatives that extend hope, support, and the message of Christ beyond the church walls and into the heart of the community.
She also faithfully serves under the leadership of Apostle Joyce Farrior Green at Manna From Heaven Apostolic Church, where she continues to grow in ministry, leadership, and spiritual excellence.
At the center of her life is her family. Minister Manns is happily married to Benjamin Manns and is a proud mother to two wonderful daughters, Bryanna and Beyonce Menefee. She considers her family her first ministry and models God’s love through both her home and her calling.
With a heart for outreach and a passion for people, Minister Lawanda Manns remains dedicated to serving, empowering, and building ministries that reflect God’s love, restore hope, and transform lives.
